AnnouncementsNEW: Refreshments – In order to ensure that there are enough refreshments for all to enjoy after the service, we are asking that parents help their children limit the snacks that they choose from the hospitality table.
UPDATED: Memorial Day Picnic – Tomorrow (Monday, May 31) we will be having an all-church family picnic (relay races, water balloons, bounce house, and more!) from 10:00AM – 2:00PM at Tierra Rejada Park (by Vons). Serve Day – This Saturday, June 5 we will be taking part in our second Serve Day. This year we will be working on projects at Moorpark High School – this is one tangible way that we can demonstrate the love of Christ to our community. REPEATED: College Group – In the next few weeks the college group (formerly 805) will be relaunching. It is tentatively scheduled to meet every Wednesday, time and exact start date TBD. Our desire is to build community, love one another, and grow closer to God and each other, as well as have fun! For more info, contact Gerry Cobian (208-1225). Greeters & Ushers – Our church needs greeters to welcome visitors and ushers to assist with seating and offering during the service. If you are willing to serve in one of these roles approximately once a month, please contact Jose Ireta (joseireta@yahoo.com, 807-2579) for more information. Sound & Music – If you are interested in serving with the worship ministry, either behind the scenes (sound, PowerPoint slides) or in front (singing, playing an instrument), please see Jose Ireta (joseireta@yahoo.com, 807-2579). Administrative Help Needed – We are seeking a part-time administrative assistant (10-20 hours/week) starting June 1. Responsibilities include: weekly bulletin prep, all-church communication, sermon PowerPoint, and other tasks as needed. Benefits include: competitive salary, work from home, flexible hours, and eternal rewards. Must be detail-oriented, well-organized, and proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
